Simao SOUINDOULA in "Angop", 5/25/11 8:57 AMCabinda Eight museums classified countrywide Cabinda - The national museums of anthropology, archaeology, slavery, natural history, dundo, Huila, Osacr Ribas and Kongo kings are considered as the eight cultural heritage institutions with conditions and museological categories countrywide. The information is part of a governmental decree, issued on 4-5 May in 2011, which has recently been divulged in the northern Cabinda province during a meeting of the professionals of the sector, held on 17-20 May. The decree also reads that other museums that conserve archaeological works and historical pieces of peoples, habits and costumes of various regions of the country were proposed by the museum staff to create conditions for their classification. The decree states that the Ministry of Culture intends to create new museums in the country should meet standards internationally recognised in the construction of museological infrastructures.
